SREL researchers have a wide reach throughout the Southeast, but most of their research focuses on the Savannah River Site and its operations. Since 1951 SREL has conducted both applied and basic ecological studies on the SRS. We summarize a small portion of these studies below. For convenience we have categorized them by decade into studies of:
